Direct management of up to 50-60 packaging operators and coordinators. General supervisionof all inspection/production lines. Responsible for training/mentoring, performance assessment and feedback, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution. Assist in the training of co-workers on plant operations, equipment set-up, changeover andtroubleshooting techniques. Insure that finished productisstacked per the designated stacking pattern for that product. Insure that all equipment and components needed for packaging lines are in place andready to go ahead of scheduled time. Insure that product skids moveoff the production lines and safely into the Quarantine Area. Inspect skids forQuarantine ID tags assigned appropriately. Secure product and components needed for the next day's scheduled production ahead oftime and brought up to the designated cage in the warehouse. Willingness to travel for equipment factory acceptance testing, client project meetings or industry trade shows and / or seminars.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. College degree preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in a productionenvironment with at least 2 years of supervisory experience required. Experience in managing hourly employees required. Ability to solve complex problems. Proven ability to resolve personnel issues/conflicts. Experience working on cross function teams. Pharmaceuticalpackaging experience highlypreferred.
